Sad story on this little baby Quail. It's family was feeding on the Quail block we have in the front yard when a car pulled up. They took off to the brush and this little guy got stuck in some plants that surround the seed block and hurt one of it's legs and couldn't run to catch up with it's family. It died about an hour latter. Nature can be hard on these little ones, maybe that's why they have a dozen or so babies at a time :-(
